Barataria Waterway - Uncharted Mooring Buoy --- Reported: 2026-10-30 --- An uncharted yellow mooring buoy with 1-inch wire rope mooring, approximately 70ft long, has been reported south of Barataria Waterway Light 6 (LLNR-16170), in updated approximate position 29-17.43N 089-58.36W, on November 1, 2026. The yellow mooring buoy is reportedly not marked. Mariners are urged to transit this area with extreme caution.
