Morgan City-Port Allen Alternate Route - Bridge Closure --- --- The LA 75 Bayou Sorrel Bridge across the GIWW Morgan City-Port Allen Alternate Route at Mile 38.4, near Iberville Parish, LA, will undergo repairs and rehabilitation. The bridge will be closed to marine traffic for repairs on the following dates and times: • December 8, 2026: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • • December 10, 2026: 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • • December 13, 2026: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • • January 19, 2027: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • • January 21, 2027: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • At all other times, the bridge will operate in accordance with 33 CFR 117.478(a). During the closure periods, mariners may obtain updates by contacting the bridge tender at (225) 659-1484.
