Mobile River - Mobile Channel - Draft Restrictions --- Reported: 2026-11-02 --- Recent soundings conducted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, indicate areas of reduced depth in the South Turning Basin near McDuffie, APM, and Pinto Island. As a result, a draft limitation of 46 ft is now in effect for vessels turning in the South Turning Basin.
