Biloxi East Channel - Mississippi Sound - Dredge and Breakwater Operation --- To: 2026-11-03 To: 2027-05-02 --- Dredging and breakwater construction will be conducted in the Mississippi Sound near the Biloxi East Channel for the Deer Island Ecosystem Restoration Project. Operations will be conducted 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. On-scene vessels will include a hydraulic cutter suction dredge, two dredge tenders, a marsh buggy, a supply barge, the M/V PINE BLUFF, spud barges, anchor barges, a survey vessel, and lighted and marked floating pipeline. Vessels and equipment will be staged in the project area and outside of the channel. Mariners are urged to transit the area with caution and at their slowest safe speed after coordinating with the M/V PINE BLUFF. VHF-FM Channels: 13 and 16
