SECTOR LOS ANGELES, SUBMERGED LAND ACT (SLA) - NEWPORT BAY General / Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges) / Facilities, Barriers, Manmade Reefs, Riprap, Jetties / Dikes CPS Consulting will conduct marine construction operations to remove and replace an existing floating dock system at 503 Edgewater Place, Newport Beach, California, at approximately 33-36.36N 117-54.37W. Work is expected to begin on October 15, 2026, and be completed by November 16, 2026. The project includes removal and replacement of an existing 3,238.5-square-foot floating dock, two gangways, two gangway platforms, eight 20-inch round marina guide pilings, and two 14-inch T-pilings with a new 2,160.3-square-foot floating dock, one gangway and gangway platform, seven 18-inch square marina guide pilings, and one 14-inch T-piling. Operations will utilize the “BB,” a Kansas City Steel Co. 20-foot by 40-foot barge with a 100-horsepower engine. VHF-FM Channel 16 will be monitored if used.
