SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA – MARINA DEL REY – TEMPORARY SAFETY ZONE: The Captain of the Port has established a temporary safety zone at the entrance to Marina del Rey, California. The safety zone will be enforced from 1300 to 1700 UTC on November 4, 2026, and from 1800 UTC on November 4, 2026, to 0200 UTC on November 5, 2026. The zone is bounded by the following coordinates: 33-57.77N 118-27.71W; 33-58.15N 118-27.01W; 33-58.05N 118-26.83W; and 33-57.59N 118-27.67W. Entry of vessels or persons into the safety zone is prohibited during enforcement periods. Mariners requesting permission to enter the zone must contact the Coast Guard on VHF-FM Channel 16 or by telephone at 310-521-3801. All mariners are advised to transit the area with caution.
