The Scripps Institution of Oceanography research vessel SALLY RIDE (Call Sign WSAF) will conduct 24-hour surface-to-floor oceanographic operations from October 31 through November 10, 2026, within the area bounded by the following four-corner box: 34-28.00N 123-59.94W; 34-28.00N 117-16.41W; 30-25.08N 117-16.41W; and 30-25.08N 123-59.94W. The exact timing and location of each station will depend on operational concerns and weather conditions. During over-the-side operations, the vessel will be restricted in its ability to maneuver; all traffic is requested to give R/V SALLY RIDE a wide berth.
