HOUMA NAVIGATION CANAL - TIMBALIER TERREBONNE BAY General / Miscellaneous Houma Navigation Canal - Terrebonne Bay - Breakwaters --- Reported: 2025-02-24 --- The Terrebonne Houma Navigation Canal Island Restoration Project is complete. Rock breakwaters have been constructed along the north and east side of the Houma Navigation Canal Island. The constructed breakwaters have not been charted. Permanent lighted danger markers have been established in the area and are charted to mark the breakwaters. Mariners are urged to transit the area with caution.
