Bolivar Peninsula - GIWW - VTS Bolivar Directive --- U.S. Coast Guard Vessel Traffic Service Houston-Galveston directs no meeting or overtaking between Bolivar Peninsula Virtual Aid 22 (Bolivar Peninsula 22 V-AIS, LLNR-35947) and Bolivar Peninsula Light 14 (LLNR-35915). The VTS recommends mariners confirm their position in the GIWW with their Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS). Bolivar Aids to Navigation are set in shoal water. The VTS recommends confirming Bolivar Peninsula Virtual Aids to Navigation 19A (Bolivar Peninsula 19A V-AIS, LLNR-35942) and 22 (LLNR-35947) prior to making the turn to/from Bolivar and/or into the Alternate Inbound Channel.
