Atchafalaya Bar Channel - Dredge Operation --- --- The U.S. Government Contract Hopper Dredge NEWPORT will be working between Mile 152.0 and Mile 167.0 of the Atchafalaya Bar Channel. Operations will be conducted 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
