GIWW - Bridge Construction --- --- Scheduled structural repairs will take place on the Houma Twin Span Bridges (SR 24 Bridges) over the GIWW, Mile 57.6 and 57.7, WHL. Scaffolding will be placed under the bridge each Monday at 7:00 a.m., and will be removed no later than 7:00 p.m., each Friday. The scaffolding will lower the bridge’s vertical clearance by no more than 5 ft. There will be no scaffolding located under the bridge outside of the scheduled work period. Mariners should plan accordingly, take into account reduced air drafts, and transit the area with caution. VHF-FM Channel: 16
