GALVESTON BAY ENTRANCE CHANNEL - HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL

Houston Ship Channel - Dredge Operation --- --- The Dredge R.B. WEEKS and M/V BREAK OF DAWN are working in the Houston Ship Channel between Houston Ship Channel Light 78 (LLNR-24520) and Houston Ship Channel Light 92 (LLNR-24600). Operations will be conducted 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Dredged material will be deposited in the ocean dredged material disposal site (ODMDS) charted west of the Galveston Entrance Channel. Vessels are requested to avoid meeting or overtaking near the operating dredges. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution and transit the area at their slowest safe speed to create minimum wake after passing arrangements have been made.
