Aransas Bay - GIWW - Breakwater and Shoreline Protection --- --- Shoreline protection work will be conducted in the vicinity of Deadman Island in Aransas Bay. Work will take place 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, and will consist of the construction of riprap breakwater, the placement of imported sand fill material, and the installation of six daybeacons in and around Deadman Island. Operations will take place in an area bound by approximate positions: 28-03.62N 096-58.72W, 28-04.99N 096-57.62W, 28-03.13N 096-58.02W, 28-03.99N 096-57.22W. On-scene vessels will include a push boat, the M/V KEISHA, and the Crew Boats BO26, BO33, and MARINE. Mariners are urged to transit the area at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake.
