Black Lake - Brown Lake - Dredge Disposal Area --- --- Dredging operations along the Calcasieu Channel will use a disposal site located west of the Calcasieu Channel, bound by approximate positions: 30-03.54N 093-25.53W, 30-00.94N 093-25.61W, 30-00.79N 093-20.16W and 30-03.77N 093-21.00W. Operations will be conducted 12-hours a day, 7-days a week, from July 6, 2026 through August 8, 2026. Operations will shift to 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, from August 9, 2026 through October 15, 2026. On-scene equipment may include dredge pipe, marsh buggies, a spud barge with an excavator, the Crane Barge KS-1354, the Barge B61, an airboat, two tender tugs and an assist vessel. Mariners are requested to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution. VHF-FM Channel: 78
