The USACE Walla Walla District has scheduled the annual navigation lock maintenance closure for 2026. During this time, the Locks and Dams on the Columbia and Snake Rivers have scheduled routine inspections and maintenance, as well as some non-routine work. For the five (5) navigation locks in the Walla Walla District, the closure schedules are as follows: McNary (RM 292) – 0001 on 21 Feb 2026 to 2359 on 28 Mar 2026 Ice Harbor (RM 9.7) – 0001 on 21 Feb 2026 to 2359 on 28 Mar 2026 Lower Monumental (RM 41.6) – 0001 on 21 Feb 2026 to 2359 on 28 Mar 2026 Little Goose (RM 70.3) – 0001 on 21 Feb 2026 to 2359 on 28 Mar 2026 Lower Granite (RM 107.3) – 0001 on 21 Feb 2026 to 2359 on 28 Mar 2026 For additional information regarding McNary, Ice Harbor, Lower Monumental, Little Goose and Lower Granite lock maintenance closures, contact Walla Walla District, Operations Division, at (509) 527-7364.
