The Hiram M. Chittenden Locks will close the large lock chamber to conduct annual maintenance from 0600 on 02 Nov – 1700 on 20 Nov 2026. Marine traffic will continue to use the Auxiliary (small) lock chamber. Further information is posted on USACE website: https://www.nws.usace.army.mil/Missions/Civil-Works/Locks-and-Dams/Chittenden-Locks/Closures/. Mariners can also call the Lockmaster at (206) 297-9745.
