COLUMBIA RIVER - WILLAMETTE RIVER General / Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges) / Boring and Core Samples GSI Water Solutions will conduct overwater rotosonic sediment sampling work on the Willamette River (RM 12.75 – 12.55 near Morrison Bridge) from 19 – 23 October, 2026. This project is USACE-permit approved and involves Tugboat M/V Pixie and Spud Barge AX60 as working vessels. Mariners planning to transit this stretch of the Willamette are encouraged to contact the vessels in advance via VHF-FM 16/13 or phone, or call the project coordinator, Joe Sherrod at (253) 486-9014.
