Mariners should be aware of possible short-term degradation to Global Positioning System (GPS) information. This degradation may occur while operating in and around Palm Springs, California. Testing will be centered at approximately 33-23.87N 115-36.37W, with potential impacts extending up to 72 nautical miles at 50 feet above ground level. The testing is scheduled for the following dates and times (Pacific Standard Time): November 8-11, 2026: 11:00 p.m. to 4:59 a.m. the following day. November 9-12, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 3:59 p.m. In the unlikely event that mariners experience an anomaly with GPS or AIS, mariners are advised to notify their local Coast Guard Sector Command Center immediately.
