Operation OpenWater will sponsor the Veteran’s Day Channel Crossing on November 11, 2026, from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the San Pedro Channel. Approximately 50 paddle craft, accompanied by 35 support vessels, will transit from Fourth of July Cove on Catalina Island at 33.447, -118.499, cross the San Pedro Channel, and finish at the Huntington Beach Pier at 33.651, -118.008. Mariners are requested to use caution when transiting in the vicinity of event participants. For more details or comments, contact Whitney Erickson at (714) 857-6402.
