LAKE MICHIGAN - STURGEON BAY SHIP CANAL General / Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges) / Dredging General/Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges)/Dredging Roen Salvage Company will be conducting dredge material unloading operations in the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal from October 28, 2026, through November 3, 2026. Operations will be conducted daily, Sunday through Saturday, between 0600 and 1800 (6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Barges will be intermittently moored on the south side of the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal for the unloading of dredge material. The contact vessel Tug Chas Asher and the barge Derrick 23 will be on scene monitoring VHF-FM Channels 7 and 16. Commercial traffic may contact Roen Salvage Company via radio (VHF-FM Ch. 7 / 16) or by phone prior to the project completion date of November 3 to verify barge presence and coordinate transit.
