Operations will be conducted 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Dredged material will be hauled offshore to the Ocean Dredge Material Disposal Site (ODMDS) located south of Dauphin Island, AL. On-scene equipment and vessels will include dredge pipe, the Scows 4002, 6001, 6002, 6003, 6004, and BR8, the T/Vs ELIZABETH ANN, PATRICIA JEAN, AMY HERBERT, and COLONEL, the M/Vs MISS TAMI JO and MISS CATE, a fuel barge, a 200 ft by 60 ft crane barge, the Crew Boat SEA SUB, and the Survey Vessel MITCHELL. The dredge will operate on four anchors and on spuds, which will limit the dredge's maneuverability. Portions of the channel will be obstructed during dredging. Vessels should coordinate passing arrangements at least 1-hour in advance to allow equipment to be moved. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
