Neches River - Sabine Neches Canal - GIWW - Dredge Operation --- To: June 2028 --- The Dredges GENERAL MACARTHUR, GENERAL BRADLEY and GENERAL MARSHALL are conducting dredging operations in the Neches River. Work will take place 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Additional on-scene vessels will include an idler barge, three anchor barges, a material barge, a crane barge, a spill barge, the Survey Vessel CONSTITUITION V, the Crew Boats DC3 BRUCKENTHAL and SMI MUNRO, and the T/Vs SGT. HARRELL, MISS SYDNEY, LIL EMI, DOUGLAS B, GUAM, CORAL SEA and SARATOGA. Advance notification timelines for ship traffic in the area is 2-hours prior to transiting, 1-hour prior to transiting, and again at 30-minutes prior to transiting the area. Advance notification timelines for tow traffic in the area is 1-hour prior to transiting and again at 30-minutes prior to transiting the area. Mariners are urged to exercise extreme caution within the work area and should transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake. VHF-FM Channels: 13, 16 and 82, POC: (848) 333-2694
