Schooner Bayou Control Structure - Transit Instructions --- --- From 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., each day, mariners are urged to take extra precautions when locking through the Schooner Bayou Control Structure, due to a contractor removing existing and installing new timber guidewalls. All vessels should contact the Schooner Bayou Control Structure on VHF-FM Channel 14 to make arrangements on which side of the channel to navigate when locking through the structure.
