General / Autonomous Vessel Operations
Gulf of America - Autonomous Surface Vessel Operation --- --- The 150 ft Autonomous Surface Vessels (ASV) MARAUDER/MR001 and GO FREEDOM will conduct testing operations in the Gulf of America, in an area bound by approximate positions: 29-58.50N 088-46.20W, 29-58.50N 088-29.20W, 29-50.40N 088-29.20W and 29-50.40N 088-46.20W. Operations will take place 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. The ASVs will have a licensed crew onboard throughout testing. On-scene support vessels will include the F/V BAD DEBT. Mariners are urged to maintain a wide berth from the operating area and can contact the M/V GO FREEDOM for additional details regarding the operation. VHF-FM Channels: 13 and 16, POC: (813) 748-7291
