SECTOR NEW ORLEANS, SUBMERGED LAND ACT (SLA) - FRESHWATER BAYOU

Freshwater Bayou - Dredge Operation --- --- The Dredge ROBERT M. WHITE will be working in Freshwater Bayou, from Freshwater Bayou Lock, Mile 1.3, to the entrance of Freshwater Bayou, Mile -4.0, in the Gulf of America. Operations will be conducted 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Dredged material will be transported through a combination of submerged and floating pipeline to a beach nourishment area located west of the channel. Vessels should contact the dredge prior to transiting the area to coordinate passing arrangements. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution.
