BARATARIA PASS - BAYOU RIGAUD

Bayou Rigaud - Breakwater Construction --- --- Breakwater construction and rehabilitation will be conducted along Bayou Rigaud, from Bayou Rigaud Daybeacon 18 (LLNR-16020) to the Highway 1 Bridge. Work will consist of rock placement and the recapping of existing breakwater structures. Operations will be conducted 12-hours a day, 7-days a week. A fleet for rock barges will be set up on the south side of the channel across from Bayou Rigaud Daybeacon 12 (LLNR-16005) and a lite loading operation will be set up on the south side of the channel across from Bayou Rigaud Daybeacon 16 (LLNR-16015). On-scene vessels will include barges and the M/Vs SLYE JOSEPH and RANDY N. Mariners are urged to transit the area at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution.
