Atchafalaya River - Bridge Repairs --- --- The Krotz Springs Railroad (UPRR) Bridge crossing the Atchafalaya River, Mile 41.5, will undergo repairs and maintenance work. Two hour advance notice will be required for the bridge to open each day, between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., the following morning. The bridge will open on signal at all other dates and times. Mariners should contact the bridge tender for updates related to this work.
