SECTOR SOUTHEASTERN NEW ENGLAND, SUBMERGED LANDS ACT (SLA) - SAKONNET RIVER
General / Autonomous Vessel Operations
Mariners are advised that VATN Systems will conduct a two-week Maritime Execution Team event on the Sakonnet River, Rhode Island, from Island Park to McCorrie Point, from November 2 through November 13, 2026. Operations will take place on the west side of the river, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Equipment includes multiple uncrewed surface vessels, a 74-foot workboat, a 48-foot RHIB, and a 24-foot RHIB. Mariners are requested to use caution when transiting the area and contact vessels on VHF-FM Channels 10 or 16.
