Location: 40-36.86N 073-30.04W Bridge Name: Wantagh State Parkway Bridge From November 2, 2026 to November 5, 2026, a contractor (HNTB), will be conducting biennial inspections at the Wantagh State Parkway Bridge across Sloop Channel at mile 15.4. Contractor will be utilizing a barge with a manlift to perform the inspections. Mariners requiring full horizontal clearance or any questions and concerns can contact the contractor via marine radio VHF-FM Ch 13/16 or call Terrence Hooker at 347-879-2226. Mariners are advised to exercise caution and reduce wake when transiting the area.
