RARITAN RIVER CUTOFF CHANNEL - RARITAN RIVER

Mariners are advised that Aqua Survey, Inc. will conduct sediment-sampling operations in the vicinity of Ward Point Bend, Raritan Bay, Staten Island, NY, from November 2 through November 20, 2026. Operations will occur Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. using the vessels R/V Tesla and R/V Prattis. The vessels will monitor VHF Channels 13 and 16 and can move on demand to avoid impeding navigation. Mariners should use caution, proceed at a safe speed, and provide adequate clearance when transiting the area.
