Location: 40-48.08N 073-51.87W Mariners are advised that Donjon Marine Co., Inc. will conduct dredging operations in the Bronx River Federal Channel from October 12, 2026, through February 15, 2027. Operations are scheduled 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and will involve a dredge, tending tug, towing tugs with dump scows, and a crew boat in the vicinity of approximately 40°48'04.7"N, 073°51'52.5"W. Vessels may contact the dredging operation on VHF Channel 78; the project will also monitor VHF Channels 13, 14, and 16. Mariners are urged to use caution, reduce speed as appropriate, maintain a safe distance from project equipment, and arrange passing with the dredge in advance when possible. The dredge can move upon request but requests 20 to 25 minutes’ notice to clear the channel.
