Location: 40-30.62N 073-56.97W 40-29.87N 073-56.97W 40-29.87N 073-58.44W 40-30.62N 073-58.44W 40-30.62N 073-56.97W Mariners are advised that S. T. Hudson Engineers, Inc. will conduct geotechnical surveys from approximately November 4 through 25, 2026, in Raritan Bay outside the limits of Ambrose Channel, in the vicinity of buoys Green 7, Red 8, Green 9, and Red 10. Operations will occur 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The liftboat NORTHSTAR VOYAGER, a 145-foot jack-up vessel equipped with a coring rig, will be spudded down at fixed boring locations and unable to maneuver. The crew boat NORTHSTAR INTERCEPTOR will support operations. Mariners are urged to use caution, maintain a safe distance, reduce speed, and contact the vessels on VHF Channels 13, 14, or 16 for passing arrangements.
