Location: 41-32.05N 071-20.44W Mariners are advised that a SOFAR drifter buoy with an attached navigational cone will be anchored in the vicinity east of Gould Island, Newport, Rhode Island, at approximate position 41°32.053′N, 071°20.441′W, from October 27 through November 20, 2026. The buoy will remain on scene continuously during this period. Mariners are urged to transit the area with caution and maintain a safe distance from the buoy and associated equipment.
