SECTOR COLUMBIA RIVER, SUBMERGED LAND ACT (SLA) - COOS BAY
General / Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges) / Dredging
The M/V YAQUINA may be conducting dredging activities in Coos Bay - North Bend Turn (RM 08+40 to RM 10+10) from 29 Sep – 06 Oct 2026. Disposal will be at Site F and G (FWB). USACE requests mariners transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake when in the vicinity of a dredge and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made on VHF-FM channel 13. Vessel(s) and/or equipment may encroach into the channel. Mariners are advised that the start and ending dates for dredging activities may vary due to unforeseen on-site conditions, such as gill net fishing, weather and other factors.
