Mariners should be aware of possible short-term degradation to Global Positioning System (GPS) information. This degradation may occur while operating in and around Santa Catalina Island, California, within the designated GPS testing area bounded by the following coordinates: 33-51.12N 118-35.25W; 33-24.77N 117-22.73W; 28-36.80N 115-01.68W; 27-37.50N 118-35.25W; 28-58.75N 122-53.65W; and 31-52.63N 124-06.17W. The testing is scheduled for the following dates and times (Pacific Standard Time): November 4, 2026: 12:00 a.m. - 4:00 a.m. November 7, 2026: 12:00 a.m. - 4:00 a.m. November 12, 2026: 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. November 13, 2026: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. In the unlikely event that mariners experience an anomaly with GPS or AIS, mariners are advised to notify their local Coast Guard Sector Command Center immediately.
