The navigation channel width has been reduced to 470 feet, between approximate Miles 921.5 and 920.0. Mariners are advised to implement a one-way traffic pattern. Southbound traffic is restricted to 5 barges wide. Northbound tows should be no more than 6 barges wide. Mariners are advised to transit the area with extreme caution and report any areas of shoaling or groundings to the U.S. Coast Guard Ohio Valley Command Center, at (800) 253-7465.
