Tombigbee River - Naheola Railroad Bridge Closure --- Reported: 2026-10-13 --- The MNBR Naheola Bridge on the Tombigbee River, Mile 173.0, near Myrtlewood, AL, has been reported unable to open for vessel traffic. Mariners requiring a bridge opening should anticipate delays and are encouraged to contact MNBR for the most current bridge status and operating schedule. Vessels that do not require a drawbridge opening may transit beneath the bridges, subject to available vertical clearance and safe navigation conditions. Mariners may contact the MNBR Naheola Bridge Operator at (601) 383-2216 for bridge updates.
