MOBILE CHANNEL - THEODORE SHIP CHANNEL
General / Hazards To Navigation / Shoaling Reported
Theodore Ship Channel - Draft Restrictions/Shoaling --- Reported: 2026-10-19 --- Recent soundings conducted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, indicate areas of reduced depth in the Theodore Ship Channel. As a result, a draft limitation of 37 ft is now in effect for vessels transiting the Theodore Ship Channel. The USACE will be dredging the Theodore Ship Channel this winter.
