TOMBIGBEE RIVER General / Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges) / Dredging Tombigbee River - Dredge Operation --- To: Late November/Early December 2026 --- The Dredge AMERICA and associated fleet will be performing dredging operations in the Tombigbee River, near Mile 83.0 (Salt Creek). Operations will be conducted 24-hours per day, 7-days per week. Dredged material will be placed in the permitted in-bank disposal areas. Navigation traffic should contact the dredge prior to passing through the area. Mariners are urged to transit with caution and at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake.
