Houma Navigation Canal - Staged Dredge Equipment --- --- The Dredge C.R. McCASKILL, a spider barge and ancillary equipment will be moored in a safe-harbor staging area due to upcoming adverse weather. The staging area will be located along the Houma Navigational Canal, between Mile 12.0 and Mile 13.3, and will be bound by the following approximate positions: 29-14.87N 090-40.89W, 29-14.91N 090-40.79W, 29-14.34N 090-40.44W and 29-14.29N 090-40.53W. Dredging operations offshore for the West Bell Headland repair project are suspended until further notice. Mariners are urged to transit the staging area at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake.
