BRETON/CHANDELEUR ICW ALTERNATE ROUTE - BAPTISTE COLLETTE BAYOU General / Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges) / Dredging Baptiste Collette Bayou – Dredge Operation --- --- The Dredge CAPTAIN FRANK and attendant plant will conduct non-continuous dredging in Baptiste Collette Channel between Mile 5.0 and Mile 12.0. Work limits for disposal areas and pipeline corridors will be bound by the following approximate positions: 29-22.63N 089-18.30W, 29-24.91N 089-18.63W, 29-26.52N 089-17.86W, 29-26.85N 089-18.76W, 29-25.41N 089-19.55W and 29-23.20N 089-19.43W. Operations will be conducted 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Dredged material will be transported to the right and left descending banks of the channel using a combination of floating and submerged pipeline. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution and transit the area at their slowest safe speed to create minimum wake after passing arrangements have been made.
