GIWW - Marina Construction and Dredging --- --- A 43-slip marina will be constructed outside of the GIWW Channel, near Mile 159.0, EHL, in approximate position 30-17.89N 087-37.73W. Work will be conducted from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Dredging from the GIWW Channel into the marina area will take place within the first 30-days of the project. All other marina construction will be conducted for the remainder of the project timeline. On-scene vessels will include a barge mounted dredge, towing vessels, and construction equipment. Mariners are urged to transit the area at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution. POC: (251) 689-8656
