Bayou La Batre - Dock Construction --- --- Marine construction will be taking place along Bayou La Batre at the Bayou La Batre City Docks. Demolition and the new construction of a boat launch, marina and fishing vessel pier will be taking place in the area. Work will be conducted Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The main channel will not be obstructed during construction operations. The boat launch basin will be closed to marine traffic during some phases of construction and may be blocked by booms/turbidity controls. Mariners are urged to transit the area with caution. VHF-FM Channels: 9 and 16
