MSIB 01-26 - State Highway 35 Bridge - Victoria Barge Canal - Issued: 2026-01-05 --- The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port Corpus Christi has received reports of tug and barge allisions with the State Highway 35 Bridge and its accompanying fendering system near position 28-31.11N 096-48.28W. Due to the narrow nature of transiting under the bridge, the U.S. Coast Guard requests all mariners exercise caution when transiting the bridge, utilize side lights and appropriate lookouts for better visibility at night, and report any allisions with the bridge or its fendering immediately to the U.S. Coast Guard. Vessels can report allisions to the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi Command Center at (800) 874-2143.
