GIWW - Marine Event --- On: 2026-10-24 --- A paddleboard and kayak event will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., near Mile 170.5, EHL, on the GIWW in Pensacola, FL. Approximately 75 to 100 paddlers will transit from Galvez Landing, cross the GIWW toward the Sunset Grill, then proceed west to Spell Island before returning to the point of origin. Paddlers and kayakers may remain on the waterway after dark following the conclusion of the event. Mariners are urged to transit the area with extreme caution.
