US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will be conducting work on the hurricane barrier sector gate leading edge steel repair Available width of the 150’ navigation opening will be reduced by up to 20’ at times during the project from a partial gate closure, a work skiff, and a floating work platform. Tug and tows or large vessels that require the full 150’ horizontal clearance should contact the barrier one hour before transit on Channel 13 VHF to coordinate vessel movement
