Mariners are advised that Manson Construction Co. will conduct 24-hour, seven-day-per-week maintenance hopper-dredging operations in the Kennebec River near Bath, Doubling Point, and Popham Beach, Maine, from approximately December 1, 2026, through January 25, 2027. The hopper dredge M/V Newport will conduct dredging and in-river and nearshore placement operations within the Bath, Doubling Point, and Popham Beach reaches. The vessel will monitor VHF Channels 13, 16, and 66. Mariners transiting near dredging operations should proceed at their slowest safe speed, minimize wake, establish passing arrangements with the dredge, and exercise extreme caution.
