NY – HEMPSTEAD BAY – HEMPSTEAD HOUSE. Mariners are advised that a safety zone will be enforced for a barge-based fireworks display, scheduled to be held in the vicinity of Hempstead Bay on October 3, 2026 from 10:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. The fireworks barge will be in approximate position 40°52’5.72N, 73°41’52.86W and the Safety Zone encompass all waters within a 180-yard radius from the barge. Vessels may not enter, remain in, or transit through the Safety Zone during the enforcement period unless authorized by the Coast Guard Captain of the Port. Other Federal, State and local agencies may assist these personnel in the enforcement of the Safety Zone.
