RI – NARRAGANSETT BAY – REGENT SEAGLIDER DEMO DAY – OTHER Mariners are advised that the Regent Seaglider Demo Day is scheduled to be held in the vicinity of the West Passage, Narragansett Bay, RI. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Two safety zones will be established. Safety Zone A encompasses: 41º39’09.79” N, 071º23’42.82” W; 41º39’40.03” N, 071º22’05.15” W; 41º37’09.58” N, 071º20’03.69” W; 41º34’54.15” N, 071º 20’03.69” W; and 41º35’02.18” N, 071º23’32.10” W. Safety Zone B encompasses: 41º34’40.90” N, 071º25’36.91” W; 41º34’37.41” N, 071º22’17.68” W; 41º32’06.18” N, 071º23’15.39” W; and 41º32’06.18” N, 071º24’58.75” W. Entry into the safety zones by any person or vessel is prohibited unless otherwise authorized by the COTP Sector Southeastern New England or designated Coast Guard Patrol Commander. Mariners are advised to use alternate routes and transit the area with caution. Interested mariners may contact the Coast Guard on-scene commander by VHF radio channel 16.
