* City of Richland Lighted Boat Parade Fireworks * December 5, 2026; 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Fireworks display launched from land over approximate location 46°16′29″ N, 119°16′10″ W. A safety zone, which is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment in the navigable waters, will be covering all navigable waters within a 450-yard radius of the launch site and will be in effect during this time. All vessel operators who desire to enter the safety zone must obtain permission from the Captain of the Port or Designated Representative by contacting either the on-scene patrol craft on VHF Ch 13 or Ch 16 or the Coast Guard Sector Columbia River Command Center via telephone at 1-(833) 769-8724.
